3 - 11 in the Patriot League really have nowhere to look, but up.

For the past 8 years Coach Allison has developed her craft as the first

assistant coach responsible for guiding the setters and recruiting players

to Bucknell.

She has scheduled an aggressive preseason tournament schedule

starting with a trip to Philadelphia for the La Salle Invitational to face

Sacramento State, Fairleigh Dickinson and La Salle on August 31 -

September 1.

Coach Allison takes her team on back-to-back road

tournaments heading to the Cornell tournament on September 6 - 7

with Bucknell, Iona and Cornell.

to face Fairleigh-Dickinson, Canisius and Rider on September 13 - 14.

Holy Cross is the first opponent on Bucknell's Patriot League volleyball

schedule on September 20.

Colgate Raiders

Last season's defending Patriot League champions the Raiders

were picked to finish third on the coaches preseason poll.

Colgate who upset top ranked American in the Patriot League playoffs

return four starters, two of who are seniors named to the All Patriot

Preseason Team.

Heading into his eight season head coach Ryan Baker will lead his team

into a challenging Patriot League volleyball schedule starting with their

very own tournament hosted on their home volleyball court the

Cotterell Court where teams from St. John's, Binghamton, Central

the first opponent for the Greyhounds on September 27 in Bethlehem,

Navy Midshipmen

Navy schedule:

Three incoming freshmen

“For the most part,” said Bock, who is entering his seventh season on The Yard, “the returners appear to be in better volleyball shape for the first day of practice than in any of my previous seasons here. It looks as if they –– again, for the most part –– did a good job this summer of physically preparing for volleyball. They even got together and trained as a group not that long ago. All of that has the potential to pay dividends down the road, but right now we are still just getting into the car and haven’t yet started to head to that road.”

The Midshipmen begin their season as hosts of the Kristen Dieckmann

Invitational tournament on August 25-26 in Alumni Hall in Akron Ohio.
