Something that I have worked hard at my whole life is being a leader.
I work very hard to try and be a positive leader on and off the court
for my team.
Recently, I suffered a hip injury that was very painful. Luckily my
helpful trainers created a hip guard that now allows me to play my
Before every game our team has a "focus time" where we turn off the
lights and imagine ourselves playing. At that time, I will tell myself to
be disciplined and be amazing for that match.
Every match I play, I play for my team, myself, and my family which
with out I would not be so successful. Every match I tell myself to
leave everything on the court, win or lose if I do that I will be pleased.
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee libero Morgan Potter was voted the
Horizon League Volleyball Player of the Week by the leagues head
Senior Morgan Potter was named Defensive Volleyball Player Of The
Week after nearing the 1,000 career digs
Potter averaged 5.2 digs per set as the defending regular season
Horizon League champion Panthers opened this year's league slate 2-0
Potter registered 24 digs in a four-set win over Green Bay, then had 14
digs in a three-set sweep of Loyola Saturday. She helped the Panthers
limit their opponents to a .186 hitting clip in two league matches, with
the Ramblers hitting just .126 in Saturday's loss.
On the season, Potter is averaging 4.58 digs per set and she is up to
915 career digs, just outside of the top 10 in school history
This is the fourth time in her career that Morgan has won the award.

Perfect for regular Boot Camp class players and players who've ALREADY played on a City of Las Vegas/NYS Elite local league team and who're interested in more advanced training and/or trying out for the Volleycats Elite 14s/15s/ local team competing in June/July/August.
