Volleyball Stores:
Worldwide Sports Supply

In my opinion, Worldwide Sports Supply is one of the top online

volleyball stores on the web.

Their stock of volleyball apparel, shoes and equipment includes all the

major (and minor) brands and they offer a huge variety of colors and

sizes in all of their styles.

Most notably they have an extensive stock of volleyball training

equipment, DVDs and books any female volleyball player, coach or

parent can choose from.

Since 1981, Worldwide Sport Supply has been selling wrestling, running

and volleyball equipment to teams, coaches and athletes. Athlete

owned and operated, WWS has gained a reputation for simplifying the

process of buying and customizing volleyball uniforms for teams and

group purchases.

They really set themselves apart from other online volleyball retailers

because they have their own warehouse onsite.

Because of this, volleyball apparel and equipment are almost always in

stock and they can quickly ship orders internationally and domestically.

They are known for having plenty of products, especially volleyball

shoes in stock in their warehouse when other volleyball stores don't.

Worldwide Sport Supply is one of the few online volleyball stores which

has a blog on their website.

The blog seems to be the place to post notices on promotions, updates

to upcoming specials, product announcements about current sales, and

news.

The idea behind the creation of their blog also seems to be to

relay important product information or to express their views of the

volleyball market.

The reader (or buyer) is invited to contribute to the blog by posting

their own experiences with volleyball life or to contribute their own

product review of the Worldwide Sports products.

I love the concept of blogging on a volleyball product site but I think

the blog would serve a better purpose if it was kept up-to-date. I think

this would be a great way to get customer feedback and to stay in

touch with their clientele.

Of all the online volleyball stores, I think they are the only ones to

feature video reviews of their own products and equipment.

From funky volleyball socks and spandex shorts to the Mizuno

Wave Tornado 3 Volleyball Shoes, players and shoppers can

check out videos onsite or on their Worldwide Sports Supply Youtube

channel starring WWS employees and brand managers providing product

information, volleyball equipment reviews, instructions and feedback on

specific products.

Currently there are quite a lot of wrestling equipment reviews, but with

all the volleyball clothing and equipment in stock, my personal opinion is

that more videos of volleyball equipment and clothing could be provided.

WWS also has a huge Clearance section offering closeouts with savings

of up to 75% on discounted products.

Besides their clearance section WWS offers discounts, sales and

markdowns on a regular basis, especially for selected stock of their

volleyball shoes. To be able to do this they use their clout with the

volleyball shoe manufacturers to offer the most favorable discounts.

Full disclosure: I am an affiliate of WWS and sell their products along

with other volleyball stores and online retailers on this site.
