Thaisa Daher Menezes, is a Brazilian volleyball player, specifically a female middle blocker who was born on 15 May 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She is a two time Olympic gold medalist and has built a reputation for being one of the best middle blockers in the world during the 2000s.

Thaisa spent the majority of her professional volleyball career playing in Brazil.                      

In 2016, she played for the top team Turkey Eczacıbaşı VitrA where during the season she suffered a devastating ankle injury in the middle of a match. But she rehabbed back to professional elite playing level and now plays in Brazil for Barueri for the 2017-18 season.

Thaisa Menezes only played pro volleyball in her native country still 2016 when she made a move to play with Eczcibasi in Turkey.

Thaisa Menezes did plastic surgery on her face because the game was often filmed on a side of her face she found difficult to watch during after match videos.

Thaisa Menezes has 24 tattoos on her body and she is eager to add more.

She is often regarded as the most attractive Brazilian player off the courts.

Thaisa Menezes was asked how she has experienced failure in the world cup and here is what she said

How have you experienced failure at the Olympic Games?
