As a player, I really wanted that kind of coaching.

Starting volleyball as a sophomore at St. Bernard's High School, I was a late bloomer, the only Black girl on a team of beach-raised players.

I fell in love with the sport instantly, but I had a lot of catching up to do.

Luckily, my coach, former pro beach volleyball player Chris Rundle, saw my potential and invested extra time in me, even though I didn't look like anyone else on the team.

But practice wasn't enough. I was driven.

I set three big goals for myself:

I didn't have a plan and I didn't know how I was going to do all this ..I just put this in the universe and decided to take one step at a time. 

So, I'd come home from practice, finish my homework, and head back outside to our backyard.

Under the dim glow of the floodlights, I'd pepper against our redwood garage door for hours - setting, passing, hitting, over and over and over.

It wasn't glamorous, but it worked.

Those late nights taught me the power of dedicated practice, personalized training, and setting ambitious goals.

I didn't know it then, but I was developing the same mental toughness and work ethic that would eventually help me achieve all three of my volleyball dreams.

We weren't the biggest or most experienced team, but we were the most *determined*.

We fought our way back from deficits, made clutch plays when it mattered most, and proved that hard work, combined with smart strategy, can overcome any obstacle.

This past weekend, I coached my Vegas Volley 18s team made history, winning the gold medal at the three-day In It To Win It Tournament held at the Rio  Convention Center.


To win the gold medal at the "In It To Win It" tournament on May 2-5, because we weren't the tallest or most physically imposing team, we outplayed our opponents with smart strategies, strong serving, aggressive offensive plays, strong defense and the mental toughness we've been developing and focusing on since January of this year.To win the gold medal at the "In It To Win It" tournament on May 2-5, because we weren't the tallest or most physically imposing team, we outplayed our opponents with smart strategies, strong serving, aggressive offensive plays, strong defense and the mental toughness we've been developing and focusing on since January of this year.

This was our club's first-ever gold medal and tournament championship since they were founded by club director Adam Bromberg.

A: For the best results, I recommend at least 1-3 lessons per week, I often see my regular clients two times a week and one weekend day.

A: I specialize in advanced training with experienced players that have 3-4 years of experience and who have serious goals to make a JV or varsity or college team. I don't coach beginners, I recommend starting with group classes with other top coaches in Vegas to build foundational skills.

Q: What age groups do you work with?

A: I primarily work with high school, club and college, and young adult players. However, I make exceptions and offer specialized training for younger talented advanced level players showing exceptional potential.

I reserve the right to create groups of 4 or less players of similar experience to train together. 

Q: What should I bring to my lesson?

A: Bring comfortable athletic wear, volleyball shoes, knee pads, a water bottle, and a positive attitude! I'll provide the volleyballs, and additional training equipment we may need to use along with any other necessary equipment.








All my clients are very very strong servers because we spend alot of time working on how to score points from the end line so serving technique is one of my priorities.
