A pass in volleyball is the technique most commonly used during the first contact in a rally especially if you're trying to get the ball to another player or if you're trying to get the ball over the net without spiking it.

After learning how to pass in volleyball the next goal is to learn how to use your pass in order to help your team to score a point.
Your goal should be to try and put your pass right on your setter's head without making them move so it's easier for him or her to run the offense.
